Celebrate an early Valentine’s Day on this romantic train excursion across Lake Blackshear. Begin by browsing antique cars, then board the train to ride across the sparkling lake and past scenic pecan groves. End at the Lake Blackshear Resort for a wonderful meal. Overnight packages with breakfast buffet are available.

PACKAGE A
   4:30 pm   Antique cars on display at SAM parking lot by Cordele Cruisers Club
    5:40 pm   Begin boarding train
    6:00 pm   Train Departs Ga. Veterans State Park headed west for your sunset ride
    6:45 pm   Arrive Ga. Veterans State Park
Arrive by 4:30 to give you time to browse the antique cars provided by “The Cordele Cruisers Club”. At 5:40 pm board SAM Shortline Excursion Train and by 6:00 you will ride across Lake Blackshear and through pecan groves into Sumter County. While on SAM Shortline enjoy the scenery and the cash bar on board. In the commissary car, purchase other items such as nachos with cheese, popcorn or a souvenir of your trip.

You will arrive back at Ga. Veterans State Park at 6:45 just in time to drive over to Lake Blackshear Resort and Golf Club for a breath taking meal. The supper will consist of a carving station of Prime Rib – Vegetables - Salads – Bread – Desserts – Choice of Coffee- water- tea.
