Historic SAM Shortline Adds ‘No-Meal’ Coach Option To Valentine Train

Cordele, Georgia –  SAM Shortline’s annual Valentine’s Dinner Train has become so popular, the 2018 event sold out almost immediately after the date became available at samshortline.com for purchase.

Featuring a romantic Italian dinner on the SAM Shortline train while overlooking beautiful Lake Blackshear at sunset, the annual event is truly a unique Valentine’s Day experience. After dinner, the train takes a rare nighttime ride through the Sumter County countryside before returning to Georgia Veterans State Park.

After numerous request for additional seating on the train ride, even without a meal, SAM Shortline has added a ‘No-Meal’ Coach seating option for the annual Valentine’s evening event.  Priced at just $20 per adult, this seating option comes with free popcorn and Valentine’s treats. The concession car will be open as well for purchasing ice cream, snacks and soft drinks. (Coach cars are alcohol free)

Details can be found at samshortline.com/schedule along with online ticket purchasing.
